Arlington Gardens Wins Outstanding Landscaping Award

On Thursday, October 18, 2012, we were proud to celebrate with Arlington Gardens Betty & Charles McKenney, and acclaimed xeriscape landscape designer Mayita Dinos for winning Pasadena Beautiful Foundation's Luther Burbank Award for Outstanding Landscaping of a Community Garden. The commercial awards were given to eleven outstanding landscape and architectural designs that contribute to Pasadena's hertiage, beauty, and community. La Loma has worked closely with Arlington Gardens, and the city of Pasadena's Ana Bailey since 2007 to build a public, open three acre urban garden that is free for all to enjoy. It is located at the corner of Pasadena and Arlington.
